Several Hinge Modern artists donated work for ArtWorks: ADL, part of their 100th anniversary celebrations and the Anti-Defamation League Los Angeles' first art-based fundraiser. The event, over one year in the making, was curated by Hinge Modern gallery director Caspar Martin, co-chaired by Eli Broad and hosted by Jeanne and Tony Pritzker at their Beverly Hills home. A silent auction ran throughout the evening and a live auction by Sotheby's Eliza Osborne was a highlight.
The custom walls for the silent auction integrated seamlessly with the beautiful architecture of the home. Installed between the delicate steel columns of the dinning terrace with custom made padded steel brackets, the walls included cut-outs to allow for viewing of two sculptures that are part of the Pritzker's collection. Designed by Caspar Martin, fabricated and installed by Ovidio Romero.
